How do I bid on an item?
Our auction clerk can get you fixed right up! We will need to see a drivers license as well as record your current address. Then, as the auctioneer is calling bids, you simply raise your hand or bid card when you are comfortable with the amount being requested by the auctioneer. If you are the winning bidder, your bidder # will be recorded by the auction clerk.
What methods of payment do you accept at your personal property auctions?
We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard & Discover cards. We do not add any fees for debit or credit cards like some auction houses.
Is there a warranty for any items purchased at an auction?
No, All merchandise is sold "As Is", "Where Is". There are no warranties, or guarantees. We encourage you to arrive early to inspect items of interest and look them over to assess authenticity, condition and age prior to bidding.
How does an auction compare to a garage sale?
One of the major benefits of having an auction is the knowlege that EVERYTHING will be sold. An auction employs open, enthusiastic & competitive bidding to secure the highest possible market price for your merchandise.
There is nothing like the power of auction marketing. We can sell your personal property (antiques, household, equipment, vehicles, etc. ) on-site or online. We work on a commission plus expenses basis, with no money up front. The advertising, labor and any other expenses will be settled after the auction and paid directly from the auctions proceeds.
Will you accept smaller amounts of items or lots?
A large portion of our business is from partial estates and consignments. Your items can be combined with other consigned items. This will give bidders a wider variety to choose from. Our auctions attract people from all walks of life such as antique dealers, interior designers, professionals, and people looking to buy merchandise at fair market value.
Your auction will be advertised in local newspapers, on this website, Auctionzip.com and by a mailing list targeted to buyers both in and outside the area.
